DESCRIPTION:  \nUS Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a recreational sports program for children and adults with intellectual\, emotional\, or physical disabilities offered only through local US Youth Soccer-affiliated soccer clubs. TOPSoccer provides people with diverse abilities an opportunity to play soccer in a structured environment that is safe\, fun\, supportive\, and inclusive. \nSessions will be on Wednesday nights from 6pm to 7pm at the Maumee Soccer Center (1620 Marketplace Drive\, Maumee\, OH ) from October 14th through November 11th. \nDSAGT will have access to two separate fields\, which means this program can truly be for everyone! We will have one field for our younger participants (6-12 years old) and one field for our teens and adults (13 years and up).

Between appointments\, school\, therapies\, activities\, work\, and everything that comes with raising a family\, it’s easy to put yourself—and time with other moms—at the bottom of the list. \nThat’s why we’re inviting DSAGT moms to Fill Your Cup with DSAGT! \nJoin us on Friday\, November 7 at 9:00 AM at Georgette’s Grounds & Gifts for a relaxed morning of coffee\, conversation\, and connection with other moms in the Down syndrome community. \nThere’s something special about getting together with people who simply get it. Time spent with other moms can provide encouragement\, perspective\, friendship\, and a reminder that you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Taking a little time for yourself isn’t selfish—it helps refill your cup so you can continue pouring into the people you love. \nAfter our moms outing\, we’ll head back to the DSAGT office for a playgroup at 10:00 AM for the kids. \nMoms: come as you are\, grab a coffee\, take a breath\, and spend some time filling your cup. We hope you’ll join us!

Students will have the opportunity to work in small groups with peers at their same ability levels and each month\, work on their reading and early math skills in addition to their speech and fine motor skills\, while also taking into account their individual IEP goals. \nMeanwhile\, our parents will have the chance to connect and learn how to better educate their students and advocate for them in the school system.
