Whole Child Reading Zoom Session

Join us for an informational session on Whole Child Reading, presented by Devin Seevers. Devin will be sharing a one hour presentation that will cover a whole-word learning approach to reading instruction that can be beneficial for children, teens, and adults with Down Syndrome. Parents will learn how whole-word reading works alongside phonics, why starting with meaning and visual learning helps word stick, and how using their child’s interests and simple materials can lead to quick reading success, build motivation, and support the development of a lifelong reader.
