Little Learners 2.0

Little Learners 2.0 will begin on September 12th and take place once a month, for 4 separate sessions.

This program is designed for students with Down syndrome between Kindergarten and 3rd grade. Students will have the opportunity to work in small groups with peers at their same ability levels and each month, work on their reading and early math skills in addition to their speech and fine motor skills, while also taking into account their individual IEP goals.

Meanwhile, our parents will have the chance to connect and learn how to better educate their students and advocate for them in the school system. Parents will be focusing on the following topics: Relationships with Educators, IEPs, Potty Training, and Behaviors.

The program will meet once a month through December from 9:30am-11:30am at Mainstreet Church (5465 Moline-Martin Rd.).

Session 1: Saturday, September 12th

Session 2: Saturday, October 17th

Session 3: Saturday, November 14th

Session 4: Saturday, December 12th
